giving

I am a big believer in giving to worthy causes.  And during the holidays, I try to eke some giving into the presents I give, if I can.

This season, consider buying a coloring gift that does double-duty: a gift for your recipient (or yourself!), and some help for a worthy cause.

Coloring for Daniel: An Adult Coloring Book for Hope, Strength and Healing

Not long before his first adult coloring book, Gnomes, was published, illustrator Daniel Savage was diagnosed with cancer. He can’t work anymore because of the advanced nature of his illness, and is currently uninsured. A group of 32 artists familiar with his situation – including his young daughter, Katie – got together and produced this thoughtful adult coloring book. The 35 images are printed single-sided on a nice-weight 60-pound paper and are a wonderful variety of designs: realistic, portraits, geometrics, etc.  They range from very easy to quite difficult, so there is something for everyone.

All proceeds from this book will go to Daniel’s family to help offset some of the costs of his healthcare.

Available at Amazon.com for $9.99, Amazon.ca for CD$13.40, and Amazon.co.uk for £8.01.
